I live and work in London (England) as a freelance writer and art historian specialising in modern art since 1940.

I studied philosophy at the University of Southampton and art history at Birkbeck College, University of London.

My plays have won prizes three times in the London Writers’ Competition.

They have been produced in the UK, USA and Germany. I wrote the short film Touch, directed by Jen McGowan, which won 18 best film awards at international film festivals.

My poetry has been published in a variety of UK and Irish magazines and my poem ‘Games the Dead Play’ was long listed for the National Poetry Prize in 2012. My first book of poems Acrobats of Sound is available from Poetry Salzburg Press.
